Osim ventures into A ‘final frontier’ Asia-Pac’s
Story 4

OSIM INTERNATIONAL LTD has ventured into New Zealand, with the appointment of LC Distribution Ltd as its master franchisee there. This makes New Zealand the 31st territory for the Singapore company’s global network.

“We are happy to enter the ‘final frontier’ of the Asia-Pacific,” said Lee Hann Yang, Osim head of international franchise. “With New Zealand on board, we are the only Singaporean retail brand with a truly pan- Asia-Pacific presence, represented in all the significant economies and countries across the region.”

Osim’s first retail outlet was recently opened in Kirkcaldie & Stains (New Zealand’s premier department store) in the heart of Wellington’s Golden Shopping Mile, Lambton Quay. A flagship store is being set up in Auckland along Parnell Street and will be ready by next month.

Over the next 12 months, LC Distribution will be expanding Osim’s retail presence nationwide, with a target of 15 stores in the three major cities — Auckland and Wellington in the North Island, and Christchurch in the South.

A global leader in branded healthy-lifestyle products, Osim operates a wide point-ofsales
network with more than 1,100 outlets in over 360 cities across 31 countries in Asia,
Australia, Africa, the Middle East, the UK and North America.
