EXPECT the unexpected?

Not knowing what to expect at the first edition of Global Food & Style Expo (GFSE) 2008, comprising the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture’s (NASDA) US Food Export Showcase, the Organic Trade Association’s All Things Organic Conference & Trade Show, and the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) Spring Fancy Food Show, held from 27-29 April 2008 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, the first reaction on entering the three-in-one show was one of relief — no more combat in the aisles!

In past years when the US Food Export Showcase was held in collaboration with the FMI Convention & Education Expo, visitors had to fight their way through hordes of tyre-kickers milling along the aisles to meet the exhibitors they wanted to meet.
