Food & Hotel Thailand 2008 promises new feature alongside familiar favourites
Story 9 - Preview

Spotlight on halal products, equipment and related issues a first for the trade show this year

THE highly-anticipated Food & Hotel Thailand 2008 promises to be an amalgamation of F&B products, supplies, services and technologies. The event will be staged at the Royal Paragon Halls in the Thai capital of Bangkok from September 17-20.

Organised by Bangkok Exhibition Services, it will be held in association with the 16th International Food & Hospitality Show 2008 (IFHS 2008), as well as HOSTEC Asia, the second Catering & Restaurant Asia and the ninth edition of Retail Thailand 2008.

Aligning itself with the Apple series again this year, Food & Hotel Thailand 2008 continues to
build on its reputation as a leading event in Asia for professionals and decision-makers in the field. (The Apple series, adopted last year, is the branding used for food shows organised by affiliates of the Allworld Exhibition Alliance.)

The Thai Retail Association, Food & Beverage Association of Thailand (FBAT) and the Thai Restaurant Association will be supporting the event this year.

The trade show will bring back familiar activities, such as the National Bartenders Cocktail Contest by the Thai Bartenders Association and the Recycle Fashion Show, that had previously awed
visitors and participants. The Housekeepers Club will also be casting for the world’s largest flower decoration.
