 Magnificent 7 judged ‘Best-of-the-Best’

The highlight of the award presentation ceremony was the announcement of the 2014 Asia Pacific Top 500 ‘Best-of-the-Best’ retail companies.

Seven companies qualified to receive this prestigious accolade for having achieved overall most excellent outcomes in the areas of business performance, value proposition, company’s CSR and sustainability initiatives, core competencies/competitive advantages, and business strategy.

The Best-of-the-Best retail companies are The Good Guys (Australia), GOME Electrical Appliances (China), China Resources Enterprise (China), Luk Fook Holding (Hong Kong), Mercury Drug Corp (Philippines), Courts Asia (Singapore), Saigon Co.op (Vietnam).

They were selected by a panel of four independent judges who found that these “ultimate winners” stood out with their clear and outstanding business strategies and their agility to respond decisively to changes in their operating environment.
