Shanghai Tang steps up presence in fashion cities
Story 11

LUXURY-LIFESTYLE brand Shanghai Tang has extended its presence to the world’s fashion cities, with the opening of its flagship store in Singapore.

The Chinese retailer joins other international names in the city-state’s Ngee Ann City, an upmarket mall in the heart of shopping street
Orchard Road.

Occupying an area of 2,500 sqf, the store features Shanghai Tang’s new concept interior that is a nostalgic evocation of
Shanghai in the 1930s, accented in luxurious and stylish contemporary black-lacquered wood and brass.

The boutique will retail a comprehensive range of the brand’s celebrated Chinese-inspired products, including ready-to-wear for women, men and children, accessories and homeware.

Apart from Singapore, Shanghai Tang retails its classic signature items like the Velvet Tang jacket in boutique stores in the cities of Shanghai, New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai and Zurich.
