Chanford brings in five leading eyewear brands
Story 12

Chanford Enterprise has ushered a new era of quality couture eyewear into Singapore with the introduction of five international brands — Menrad, JOOP!, Zeiss, Jaguar, and Davidoff.

The Singapore company signed an exclusive distribution contract with Ferdinand Menrad GmbH & Co of Germany for the five brands last month, launching their latest collections simultaneously.

Menrad Eyewear, a 111- year-old brand, will offer two of its main ranges available for both genders — the Three G and the Clip & Go. The Three G line is unique for its lightweight — only 3g. Customers can choose the latest summer trends from six lens shapes and eight striking colours. The Clip & Go range features eight exchangeable clip-on rims in a variety of colours.

Meanwhile, the JOOP! Eyewear Collection comes in five distinctive styles, with three sunglasses and two frames for both men and women. Extravagant and stylish, the high-fashion sunglass collection is created especially for statementmakers who will only step out in style.

Catering to men, women and children is the Zeiss series offering four main styles, each tailored to suit the taste and eye-care needs of conservative corporates, trendy youths, eccentric individuals and the youngest customer.

Image-conscious men who favour classic style and elegance will find their desired choices among Jaguar Eyewear’s best-in-class frames and sunglasses designed for eminence and durability.

Last but not least, the entire Davidoff Eyewear collection, created solely for men, boasts 35 Correction Frame and 13 Sunglass models. The brand’s premium pieces come under the Prestige Collection , which is comparable to eyewear offered by Dupont and Cartier.

Retail prices for Chanford Enterprise’s new eyewear lines start from S$350 (US$231.40).
