Wing Tai set on Epicor’s ERP solutions
Story 1

SINGAPORE apparel retailer Wing Tai Retail is set to use Epicor’s end-to-end ERP solutions, from point-of-sale (POS) to back-office functionality, for its stores across the region. It will deploy Epicor|CRS Microsoft.NET-based POS, CRS Inventory management, and CRS Promotional Events and Retail Mail applications.

The retailer, which manages 90 stores in the region and is the licensed distributor for more than 18 brands, is also looking at Epicor’s CRS Merchandising applications, including CRS Allocations, CRS Transfers Plus and CRS Retail DataWarehouse modules, along with its Warehouse Management and Financials systems. The company has already purchased Epicor’s advanced planning solution and the Tie Commerce third-party EDI application, for which Epicor is a reseller.

“Large retailers in Asia are now willing to revamp their IT infrastructure to realise the benefits of integrated Retail ERP to drive down the cost of distribution and access to business intelligence to make profitable choices in product allocation,” said Kathy Frommer, senior vice-president and general manager of Epicor|CRS. “[Their choice] of Epicor ERP solutions is testament to the benefits [they] can derive from a single-source provider with the ability to serve their needs, from POS to back office. Our global infrastructure means we can support our customers wherever they are doing business in the world.”
