Compact-Impact selects Webgistix to fulfil orders
Story 8 - E-Commerce

COMPACT- IMPACT, an importer and marketer of innovative and unusual products from Asia, has chosen e-commerce order-fulfilment company Webgistix Corp for its worldwide sales network.

A statement issued by the service provider said Compact-Impact would leverage Webgistix’s SmartFill platform, which seamlessly integrates with the retailer’s shopping cart, or CRM (customer-relationship management) system, and shipping companies, injecting “real-time, Web-based visibility into fulfilment operations”.

“We’re growing rapidly and need a fulfilment platform that can scale with our business,” Kiho Shin, founder of Compact-Impact, said.

With an automated “end-to-end fulfilment process, moving orders from online shopping carts to physical delivery trucks”, the system gives the company “nearly limitless scalability”, Shin said.

“In addition, the Webgistix platform’s flexibility and reporting are superior to other platforms we evaluated. We can choose our preferred shipping method and we [give] visibility to order status, inventory levels and customer data,” Shin added.

Joseph DiSorbo, president of Webgistix, said: “Our fulfilment platform has been designed from the ground up for e-commerce sites like Compact-Impact. com, which handles thousands of orders each month.” There is also a guarantee on the “accuracy and timeliness of order fulfilment”.

“We simplify the process, so retailers can focus on marketing and growing their businesses,” DiSorbo added.

“The financial benefits of going with Webgistix are substantial. First, it’s a very economical solution for our business, so we don’t have to pass on high costs to consumers. Second, Webgistix allows us to hold questionable orders until we verify transactions with creditcard issuers. That’s important so we can protect ourselves against fraud,” Shin explained.
