Holiday shopping is here again …
Will cash registers jingle all the way for Asian retailers this year?
Story 1 - One Viewpoint

After the devastating holiday shopping seasons in recent years, retailers are anxious about how the season this year would turn out. The happy news is that the first three quarters of 2010 have been spectacularly bullish for Asian retailers. Will the momentum be carried through into the fourth quarter? Thankfully, surveys on the economic outlook and consumer sentiments so far have pointed to robust prospects. So, it seems that Asian retailers can be quite optimistic about the holiday shopping season this year — but with a lot of caution.
