Inaugural DSW Asia 2010 off to a good start
Story 10 - Review

THE first annual Digital Signage World Asia 2010 (DSW Asia 2010) made its debut at Suntec Singapore on November 9 and 10 last year. Held concurrently with the show was the Kiosk Self Service World Asia exhibition and conference.

Positioned as the premier educational and networking event for digital signage and kiosk professionals across the region, DSW Asia 2010 featured a two-day conference dedicated to digital signage solutions, complemented by a series of on-floor seminars with local industry experts sharing experiences and practical knowledge.

According to DSW Asia 2010’s organiser Terrapinn Pte Ltd, the conference was attended by over 100 local and international executive-level conference delegates from industries such as retailing, hospitality, advertising, government and transport. The conference delegates were presented with cutting-edge industry information, dedicated networking opportunities and high levels of interaction between delegates, speakers and sponsors.

The exhibition featured some of the largest brands in Asia from digital outof- home solutions. It gave participants an opportunity to look at investment in digital signage through case studies and the exploration of new digital signage applications.

Showcasing state-of-the-art digital signage solutions were leading brands in Asia such as Click Grafix, Samsung and Harris. There was also a display of interoperable workflow solutions from broadcast to cable, satellite and out-ofhome networks.

Networking breaks and exhibition viewing times were extended to allow more time for delegates and speakers to meet and exchange digital signage strategies, as well as compare products, services and suppliers in the exhibition. Discussions were also carried out at the VIP lounge within the exhibition area.
